Stéphane Heurteau (illustrateur / scénariste / formateur)

Stéphane Heurteau (Illustrator / screenwriter / trainer)

Stéphane Heurteau started at the age of 15 in a printing house as a designer/layout artist, from 82 to 88. Then he moved to an agency as a graphic designer and illustrator until 2000. At the same time, he developed his own comic book projects and obtained his first publications in Sapristi from 1993.

It was in 2001 that his first work, La Balade de Gwen, was published by Editions Terre de brume (2 titles published), followed shortly after by the series Itinérêve d'un gentilhomme d'infortune by Editions Le Cycliste (3 albums + travel journals).

A prolific author and renowned watercolorist, passionate about Brittany, Scotland, and Ireland, and an enlightened cinema enthusiast, he works as a freelance illustrator for communications while continuing his work as a comic book artist and teaching classes in Nantes. He is currently exhibiting his series of illustrations "Bretagne 2870," dystopian portraits of Breton cities and sites, inspired by the world of Tampa (two albums planned).

He lives in Rochefort-en-Terre, where he has set up Atelier 5.6. Visitors can discover his work through original plates and his self-published works.
